Transformer Exchange handles the entire process of moving and installing large power transformers. From yard pickup to final energization support, we coordinate the details so your team does not have to manage five different vendors.

Before shipment, we arrange everything required to safely move the unit:
Preparation is done based on OEM guidance and the specific transport method being used.

When oil needs to be removed, stored, filtered, or reinstalled, we coordinate:
Oil work is scheduled alongside trucking, rail, or vessel timing to avoid delays.

We coordinate transport for GSUs and large power transformers across North America and internationally. Scope typically includes:

Once the transformer arrives onsite, we coordinate crane and rigging crews for safe offloading and final placement on the foundation. We manage the reinstallation of radiators, bushings, and any components removed for transport. Our team works directly with site supervisors and EPC partners to ensure the setting process follows approved lift plans and project requirements.

As the project moves into its final phase, we remain involved to keep everything on track. We coordinate with testing teams, support oil processing and final assembly, and stay in close contact with utility and EPC representatives. All testing is performed by qualified providers, while we oversee the process to maintain continuity through energization.
